About GMS
An execution platform built from technology first.
GMS grew from the delivery foundations established through CodeIdea and expanded into a broader platform integrating technology, construction and management for sport. We are not consultants. We are builders.
Where the story began
From technology execution to sports ecosystem builder.
The GMS story began with technology. Through CodeIdea, founded by Gevorg Martirosyan, the original execution capability was built through real product delivery — sports-tech systems, engineering discipline, platform operations and long-term support for clubs, leagues and organizations.
That foundation created more than software expertise. It created an execution culture — a way of working where systems are built to operate, not to present. Where technology decisions are made alongside construction and management requirements. Where delivery is measured by operating performance, not project closure.
GMS emerged as the natural evolution of that foundation — expanding from technology into infrastructure, operations and full sports ecosystem execution for governments, investors, clubs and federations across multiple markets.
Today, GMS operates five interconnected platforms and brands, coordinates mandates across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, and maintains the engineering depth of its CodeIdea origins while delivering at the scale of an institutional execution group.
Unlike firms that add technology as a layer, GMS was born from technology. Every system, platform and digital decision carries the engineering rigor of real product delivery — not theoretical architecture.
- We started in technology, not consulting
- We build and operate, not advise and leave
- We integrate three disciplines, not outsource them
- We have live ecosystem proof, not case studies
- We measure by operating performance, not deliverables
Three integrated disciplines
Technology. Construction. Management.
These are not departments. They are not separate services. They are three dimensions of a single execution platform — designed to work together from the first conversation to operating scale.
Operating platforms, data architecture and integrations specified with construction and management in mind from day one. We don't build demos — we build systems that run operations.
Every platform in the GMS ecosystem is backed by CodeIdea engineering: booking systems, membership platforms, competition engines, admin dashboards, payment processing and API layers that connect the entire stack.
Facility concepts, masterplans and venue clusters translated into buildable, phasing-aware execution programs coordinated with technology and management requirements.
GMS approaches construction from the operator's perspective. Adjacencies, flow, maintenance access, technology integration points and revenue optimization are considered before architectural aesthetics.
Governance models, operating frameworks and performance systems calibrated to how assets will be funded, operated and measured over their full lifecycle.
Operating playbooks, staffing frameworks, service standards, safety systems, event operations manuals, sponsorship packaging and community growth programs — all designed for the teams that will use them daily.
Our journey
From code to ecosystems.
Gevorg Martirosyan founds CodeIdea as a technology company focused on engineering, product development and sports-technology systems. The first platforms are built for booking, membership and operations.
CodeIdea deepens its specialization in sports technology — building operating platforms, competition systems and digital infrastructure for clubs, leagues and sports organizations.
Tournik is created as a dedicated operations infrastructure platform — bringing competition management, event workflows, registrations and officiating tools to federations and leagues.
OpenPadel launches as an interoperability infrastructure layer — enabling booking platforms, clubs and federations to connect and share data without vendor lock-in.
The Armenian Padel League is established as a live competition and participation engine — proving the GMS ecosystem model in a functioning market with real players, rankings and events.
The premium venue and club model launches, bringing together facility standards, player experience and operating discipline as the physical layer of the ecosystem.
GMS — Global Management of Sports — is formally established as the parent execution platform, integrating technology, construction and management capabilities built through years of real delivery.
Why GMS exists
To solve the full-chain fragmentation problem in sports.
Across sports markets worldwide, the same pattern appears: infrastructure built without an operating model. Technology deployed without integration into facilities. Advisory work that ends before systems become operational. Construction that ignores the operator who will inherit it.
The result is predictable: overspent budgets, underperforming venues, fragmented technology, frustrated stakeholders and ecosystems that look impressive in presentations but fail in practice.
GMS was created to connect planning, systems, infrastructure and management into one execution platform. It is not only a consultancy, not only a technology provider, and not only an infrastructure coordinator. It is the operating bridge between them.
Every mandate GMS undertakes integrates all three disciplines from the outset — because that is the only way to build sports ecosystems that genuinely operate, scale and last.
Armenia-based execution team coordinating mandates across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia with a global advisory network. High-talent, low-overhead base with international reach and multilingual capability.
Execution over theory. We measure our work in facilities opened, platforms running and organizations strengthened — not in decks delivered, workshops completed or presentations given.
To design, build and scale modern sports ecosystems that are operationally credible, commercially sustainable and built for long-term value — for governments, investors, clubs and federations.
To become the reference execution platform for sports ecosystem development globally — the organization that governments, investors and federations trust to turn ambition into operating reality.
Operating principles
What we believe. How we work.
We measure our work in facilities opened, platforms running and organizations strengthened — not in decks delivered or workshops completed.
Every component of a sports ecosystem should connect. Technology informs construction. Construction enables management. Management generates data that improves technology.
Repeatable processes, documented procedures and measurable performance — not ad hoc decisions made under pressure.
We build for the operator who will run the asset in year five, not for the ceremony on opening day.
A project is not complete when construction finishes. It is complete when the operating model is proven and the ecosystem is generating value.
The technology team, the construction team and the management team must work as one execution unit — not as separate vendors with separate agendas.
Leadership
Founded by a builder, not a consultant.
Founded CodeIdea with a technology-first approach to building sports systems. Expanded from product engineering into full sports ecosystem execution through GMS. Leads the company's strategic direction, stakeholder relationships and execution methodology.
